I agree that children need to be taught how to manage money. It is important that parents help teach how to manage your money when the children are young. When they are in highschool, or earlier, they should be required to take classes on finances, many people have no idea how and thing related to finances works. They need to be taught how to file taxes, how to invest, and the ideas of credit and interest rates. As children become independent they will have an idea of what to do with their money and this will hopefully reduce the financial problems many people are facing today.
